In this class you will learn three ways to complete the binding on the edge of you quilt: traditional double fold binding, mock piped binding, and bias binding.

You will work on three small samples you can take home and refer to as you work on your quilts.

We will discuss when and where each binding is most appropriate and the advantages and disadvantages of each.

Sew with Me - Kim Mai

We have done a lot of projects in 11 days. I would like to answer any questions and help you finish these projects before I return home to my Minnesota / Canadian border home. Let’s wrap things up! I’d love to say goodbye to all of you on this day as well.

If you would like a day challenge I have lots of “Gifts to Go” patterns. Bring in some fabric and we’ll find the perfect pattern for you. It might be a storage box, a wine bag, a pillowcase or a simple tote.

This is my favorite quilt to make. It looks so hard to do but in reality it’s super easy. You will enjoy making the along with getting ooohs and aaaaws when you show it off.

This is a 2 - day class beginning Wednesday April 3rd, 2024 and concluding Thursday April 4th, 2024.
