How The Classroom Works

Cost: No cost to the teacher, small group coordinator

Hours: 10am to 3pm (additional hours can be arranged)

Parking: in front of the building along the fence or in the driveway

Class Fee: to be set by the teacher and collected by Quilt Culture.  Cash and Check (made out to the teacher) are accepted forms of payment for classes. 

Class materials:  Quilt Culture will be happy to order materials for the class with enough notice and materials we feel can be sold even after the class.  Specialized materials should be provided by the teachers.  Teachers may sell proprietary items directly to the students.

Maintenance of classroom:  classroom is to be returned in the condition it was received in. 

Classroom seats 12 people max.  An ironing station, cutting station with mat and design walls are provided.  Please bring your own rulers and cutters. 

Marketing:  Quilt Culture will promote classes via Facebook, Instagram and our website/newsletter and word of mouth. 

Class sign up:  ALL sign-ups for classes will be taken at Quilt Culture. Material list will be given after sign-up fee is paid.  Cash or Check (made out to the teacher) are the accepted forms of payment.    

Cancellations:  If a class needs to be cancelled Quilt Culture requires 14 days’ notice.  The teacher will be responsible for notifying the students and processing any refunds. 

Student cancellations/no show refunds:  When signing up for a class please check your schedule and be sure you can attend.  In the event you cannot attend it is the student’s responsibility to fill their spot.  No refunds will be issued unless the class must be cancelled by either the teacher or Quilt Culture.
