Learn to Weave

Weaving is the combination of threads going vertically, with threads going horizontally, over and under, over and under continually. In this class we will experiment with different widths of strips as we weave your scraps into a new piece of fabric that will be full of color, texture and patterns.

Supplies:

20 inch square Fusible Fleece

Strips of scraps various sizes. You can always sew them together to make the scraps long enough. Pre-cut 20 inches long

Precut widths being 10 strips 1/2 inches wide, 10 strips 1 inch wide, 5 strips 1 1/2 wide, 5 strips 2 inches wide. All will equal 30strips going vertical.

Large colorful pins

Scissors

preloaded several bobbins any color

Top thread 2 spools that contrast or match your colors

glue stick
